UBISOFT has allegedly resumed development on an undeclared live-service project Absolutely different Cosmic Project MavericOriginally designed as a multiplay-focused extraction shooter, the purpose of the game was to launch with the next mainline entry in the series, Remote Roe 7 (Code Innnance “Project Blackbird”). However, internal restructuring and shifting preferences have inspired the company to return the Mavric in the prototyping phase.
Project Mavric was initially conceived as a large -scale multiplayer survival experience set in Alaska Wilderness. The players will fight against hostile groups, dangerous wildlife and extreme environmental conditions while meeting the objectives and trying to remove valuable resources. The title was expected to align with the growing trend of the shooters expected, similar to sports Escape from Tarcov And Hunt: Shodown,
However, in the late 2024, Ubisoft re -assigned several Mavement developers to assist with remote crucifies, resulting in a recession in its progress. The project was allegedly handed over to a relatively new studio Ubisoft Sherbrook within the company to detect a new direction for the game.
