They also note that the Android version of the app displays even less safe behavior and must be avoided.
In response to these findings, many US lawmakers are advocating a ban on the Deepsek app on government equipment, citing concerns on sharing potential data with the Chinese government. This reflects previous functions against other Chinese-developed apps due to national security views.
