Windows users update their application using several options in the latest version of Windows 11. Some apps come with their own updated checking, downloading and installation functionality. Microsoft is working on uniting the future of the application update on Windows. It launched a private preview of the Windows update orchestation platform this week.

Microsoft says that this method has many advantages on the current process. For users, it means a streamlined procedure to update the supported application. Developers can also avail the system and its capabilities rather than individually developed.
