Microsoft released security updates for Windows 11 and other company products earlier this week. If you have installed security update on Windows 11 PC, you must have seen something strange after the compulsory restart.
After opening the drive C route in the file explorer, you can stumble on the INTPUB folder, a newly created folder. The construction of the folder aligns with the date and installation of the time update. When you open it, you will see that it is empty.
Microsoft did not mention the folder in Changelog, and it could not be immediately clear why the folder was made.

Microsoft has not confirmed the problem at its end and it is not clear why the folder is made when the update is installed. It is possible that there is something wrong inside the update and folder is made as a result.
In any event, the INTPUB folder is not preserved. You can remove it by right-clicking and selecting deletes, or by selecting the folder and tapping on the delete key on the keyboard.
Given that the reason for the construction of the folder is not clear at this point, it is possible that it may reopened in later time, for example after the installation of the next security update for Windows 11 for Windows 11.
