Windows 11 will soon allow you to personalize your lock screen to a greater extent. Microsoft is currently testing an option that allows users to choose which widgets will be displayed when the computer is locked.
In its current situation, the only option of Windows 11 to customize the experience of widgets is the “weather and more”, which displays a couple of weather information, some random news headlines, a stock widget and a couple of other widgets. Only other options that users have to fully disable the experience, which many users do, as they do not like the default widget or the material they display.
This is changing, Microsoft has announced a new lock screen experience for examiners that will allow you to choose which widgets appear on the screen. To do this, you have to replace some options under Settings> Personality> Lock Screen. Essentially, you can choose to add new widgets, or remove the existing widgets to reduce the lock screen, all of this changing, Windows 11 lets you arrange the widget again. Microsoft says that these options will be available for the following widgets: weather, wrathist, sports, traffic, and more.

When we are on the subject of widgets, the Microsoft is also making changes in the widget board that you can access from the Windows 11 taskbar. Change in lock screen widget experience is currently rolling for users in the Windows Insider program, and has been selected in the beta channel. This will not happen long ago before these facilities can make their way for the stable release of Windows 11.
