Is your printer recently working strangely? Through him, I mean the printing page even if you have not hit the print-button? It can then be related to a new issue which has just been confirmed by Microsoft.
Description,
- The problem affects everyone but the latest version of Windows. In other words, Windows 11, version 24h2 is not affected while Windows 11 is version 22h2/23h2 and Windows 1 version 22h2.
- The USB protocols affect the USB print and printers supporting IPP (Internet printing protocol).
- The affected printers can automatically print random text and data.
The issue may be after the establishment of the issue of January 29, 2025 Preview or any subsequent update that Microsoft released to the affected operating system.
The printout can begin with “post/IPP/print http/1.12”, but it is not so at all times. Microsoft states that it is likely that users experience this problem when the printer is operated or re -added to the Windows machine after disconnect.
The bug report shows that the problem is seen when the print spoler sends the IPP protocol message to the printer, as it causes the printer to print the text unexpectedly. Apparently, this occurs more often when the printer is connected or operated.
Good news: While Microsoft is investigating the problem, it has released a known issue rollback. It automatically solves the problem on non-managed equipment during days.
System administrators may need to be active about managed devices. Microsoft’s bug report instructs how it is done using group policy.

The process is the same. You need to install and configure the group policy using the download provided. This applies the issues known on the machine rollback and should correct experienced issues.
Closing word
It is interesting to note that Windows 11, version 24h2 is not affected by this issue. Typically, bugs are experienced in new versions of windows more often than old, more installed versions. This time, it appears in another way.
Now you: Do you use a printer? If you do, how is it connected to your equipment?
